Sunday Ride Aug 9th----Penang Round Island Report

I woke up at 4am today. Felt so excited about the Penang round island today. Mr Barrack successfully got 20 riders for today.
The weather was nice since 4am …but darn….. heavy rain at 6:30am…. Too late for Mr Barrack to patah balik, he was in the middle of penang bridge…. We decided to meet at Pisa, get some dim sum and wait for other riders… By 7:15am, most of the riders reached pisa except albert’s gang… rain was still heavy… we took some dim sum and tried our luck to wait stop raining. By 8am, rain stop with god blessing Bullet Tan. He felt so eager and excited to cycle. I knew today it’s goin to be fast and furious…

It proven my assumption was true.. Bullet Tan once again leading… and I took a tougher route from EQ hotel and hoping it could slow down our Bullet Tan a bit… but I thought wrong strategy, it stressed the rest of the rider and me instead…. We was riding >30km/hr before we meet our Roco at tanjung bungah…

We found out that we have 1 new potential…. Ah moy….nop… should be speedy moy, new name ;) he was able to follow Roco and Bullet closely… I think soon or later will threaten their leading position…. So my assumption was 100% correct for cranky…. The bigger size of your body, the faster rider you are…. All big buggers were in the leading position…

We all ride steady along Batu ferringi until…. Ah gan’s tire punctured… we stopped at opposite Rasa Sayang hotel and we actually demonstrated Manager’s culture.. one person fixed the tire… the other riders gave a lot of instruction and did talking at the side…. Ha…. I was enjoying the sea view along batu ferringi so much and Roco met another “tiny” accident near the cornering… I thought he was looking at some hot chick near the beach and I missed all the “good view”…. But in fact it turns out his tire punctured as well… but he managed to control his bike well at corner… 0 injury… We continue to cycle after fixing Robo’s bike and got amused by Edmondo.. we were helping him to find good spot to “pang sai”… haha…. But I thought he was too shy to do that near the river…

After our laksa break at balik pulau, we took the new route to tun sardon… and this new route turn out to be very tough….!@#$$%....
We took couple of picture at tun sardon…. Are you able to notice who was missing from the picture… Bullet Tan… he was too fast and missed all the picture… so key learning for Bullet Tan next time, please go slower than camera man… ;)
